2012 Best Coin (tie)
This Spanish Silver One Reale was discovered by Bryon Maddox in a previously hunted field. Colonial coinage is not easy to find in E.C. Indiana. The specimen was minted in Mexico between 1779-1820.

Brant Jones. He discovered the very cool coin while hunting in Randolph County. You don't see many 3-cent nickles and this one is in fine shape.
